The spirometer arrived today.

I noticed that the plug pack power supply is the wrong one. 

They require a 1500mA 12v DC self-regulated switchmode - it arrived with a 500mA AC Iron core plug pack!

When I tested the unit, I found that the cable between the mini flow meter and spirometer is damaged (the cable has visible damage ear the connectors).

The replacement cables are no longer available.

The Spirolab 3 stopped being manufactured about 10 years ago when it was replaced with the Spirolab 4.

We can remanufacture a cable (which we have done successfully in the past) but it is very time-consuming and expensive.

The cost of the remanufactured cable is $410 +GST which includes up to 2 hours of labour.

Once the unit is operational with a new cable, we can continue testing the spirometer to determine if it is fully operational.
